the armorial plaques

The historic collection of armorial plaques can be seen in the background of a Boys' Brigade Display at the old Highlanders' Institute, and (below), a montage of some of the plaques.  The collection is a memorial to the participation of Highlanders in two World Wars.  It was moved to the St Vincent Street Church when the Institute was closed.  The collection is currently in storage.
