The Minister and the Kirk Session are pleased to make the services and the facilities of Blawarthill and St Columba congregations available to any couple who sincerely wish a Christian wedding service rather than a civil ceremony to celebrate their marriage.

We are an open and inclusive congregation, and the Minister is authorised to solemnise same sex marriages.

Funeral Services for members and adherents should be arranged through the Minister. If a Gaelic speaking minister is requested for any particular funeral, we will do our best to find one.

It is possible to webcast funerals (with the agreement of next of kin). This will mean that wider families and friends can sit in their homes and take part in a funeral service at around the same time as any service is being held for the immediate family in the church.
