Joining the Church
Anyone is welcome to come to our church, and take their full part in the life and fellowship of the congregation. If you are ready to make a public commitment of your faith, this is done my making a public Profession of Faith at a church service. This is sometimes just referred to as "joining the church". If you are interested in joining the church or would like to know more about the Christian faith, you can speak to us on Sunday mornings or write to us by email using the contact form (Contact Us). The Minister or Interim Moderator will be happy to meet if you would like to know more or to discuss any pastoral questions.
The Church of Scotland’s membership vows are:
Believing in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and confessing Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord:

Do you promise to join regularly with your fellow Christians in worship on the Lord’s Day?

Do you promise to be faithful in reading the Bible and in prayer?

Do you promise to give a fitting proportion of your time, talents and money for the Church’s work in the world?

Do you promise, depending on the grace of God, to profess publicly your loyalty to Jesus Christ, to serve him in your daily work, and to walk in his ways all the days of your life?
